Dive site description: A quiet place to get wet an hour out of Portland. Generally you can pick up a watch or loose change under the jump off rocks. Found a nice wedding ring last year. A Summer and Fall Dive -not much current unless the river is really moving. Salmon seen when they are running. A walking trail runs along the other side of the river for anyone not diving. There are two pools. The lower pool has the falls at the upper end. You can dive under it, but be prepared for a sleigh ride if you get to close to the surface. The upper pool, and larger pool, is reasonable walking distance upriver from the parking lot. Upper pool has the easiest entry. You can dive both pools on a tank if you are quick. The bathroom is by the upper pool. |
Directions: Hwy 503 North out of Battleground WA. Take a right on Rock Creek road and follow it to Moulton Falls State Park. The lower parking lot is right in front on the lower pool. Don't park at the upper lot, its a hike to water. |
